The Scioto County Drug Take Back event was held at the Scioto County Sheriff’s parking lot. The event was held on Friday, April 13th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Results were:
- 67 vehicles
- 71 lbs. of pills collected
- 48 lbs. of sharps/syringes
- 19 lbs. of liquid meds
Lawrence County
The Lawrence County Drug Take Back event was held at the Ironton Hills Plaza. The event was held on Saturday, April 14th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Results were:
- 53 vehicles
- 80 lbs. of pills collected
- 10 lbs. of sharps/syringes
- 32 of liquid meds

It seems like Huntington should subsidize you folks since if you can accept recycles, it would reduce HUntington land fill cost, I think if you could reinstate the Walmart dumpsters, I think a lot of West Virginians would gladly pay a annual fee to use the facility. Initially if one of your staff could be there for a few days, I’ll bet a lot of West Virginians would voluntarily kick in $20 every few months. You could give them a cheap decal to stick on their windshield.
