Caught Green Handed

A program we had several years ago is now back – “Caught Green Handed”.  This program is designed to recognize a person for their recycling efforts, or, to acknowledge an outstanding individual for their efforts in cleaning up Lawrence County.  Our first winner is a resident of Pedro and recently got caught recycling at the Wayne National Forest recycling containers.  For his efforts, he received a recycling bag filled with “goodies” and a $20.00 gift card to Texas Roadhouse Restaurant.  The gift card was provided by Commissioner DeAnna Holliday.

The gift bag includes:  a T-shirt stating – “I got caught green handed”; litter bag; District Pens; District Mouse Pad; Water Bottle; Coaster for Beverage; Band Aids; Hand Sanitizer; Flower Seeds; Jar Opener; Scratch Pads; Magnetic Clip and a Gift Card from a donor.

This will be a monthly program provided by the Lawrence-Scioto Solid Waste District and Project First Impression.  One winner each month!

First picture:  Myself, Commissioner Freddie Hayes, our winner, Commissioner DeAnna Holliday & Commissioner Colton Copley.

Second picture:  Items in the “goodie bag” along with the gift card.
